How to Join Local 249

In order for us to consider your application for membership in Local 249 Carpenter's Union, we require the following:

  • Your resume
  • Proof of education (Grade 10 or higher)
  • Any certification you have (ie WHMIS, Fall Protection)
  • A letter of hours from related jobs you've done

If you are a fully licensed carpenter you must bring in your Red Seal card. Come in to the Hall at 710 Innovation Drive, Kingston or fax your information to 613-384-3730. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Your resume will be kept on file for a period of one year.
