Lest We Forget. Vimy Ridge, a crucial battle in WW Lest We Forget. Vimy Ridge, a crucial battle in WW1, was the first time in history Canadians soldiers fought & won together as an identified national group. Many returning WW1 veterans upon their overseas return joined the Carpenters Union in Ontario as new members.

Brothers and Sisters: The support we received from Brothers and Sisters: The support we received from CUPE during the Carpenters strike in May was overwhelming. This Friday let’s show CUPE and its hardworking members our appreciation for their support by joining them on their picket line. 
For those of you who work a half day on Friday, wear your union colours and please come join the members of CUPE after and show your support. The Reps of Local 249 (Adam, Ben and Alex) will be there.
